Retiring soon: the Millennium Falcon, the Venator and Artemis

LEGO marks three of our sets as retiring soon. What that label means, the facts on each set, and what changes once a set has retired.

4 min read

On LEGO.com, some sets carry a small label: Retiring soon. In October 2026, three of the sets we carry have it: the Millennium Falcon 75192, the Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser 75367 and the NASA Artemis Space Launch System 10341. This guide covers what the label means, the facts on each of the three, and what changes once a set has retired.

What "retiring soon" means

LEGO keeps a page for these sets. In its own words, they "will be officially retired very soon" and "won't be available forever." The page does not give a date for each set, so we do not give one either. Once a set retires, LEGO stops making it and it is no longer sold on LEGO.com. Until then, it is still a current set, with an official LEGO US price.

LEGO US prices as listed on LEGO.com on October 20, 2026. Built sizes are LEGO's figures, each given as a minimum. Release years are the years the sets came out.

Millennium Falcon 75192

LEGO calls this the largest, most detailed LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon it has ever made. It came out in 2017, and it is the oldest of the three. The model has 7,541 pieces and 7 minifigures: Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia and C-3PO for the classic crew, and Older Han Solo, Rey and Finn for the later films. A BB-8 droid figure, 2 Porgs and a Mynock complete the cast. The sensor dishes and the crew are interchangeable, so you choose which era the ship shows. Hull plates come off to reveal the main hold, the rear compartment and the gunnery station. Built, it is over 33 inches long and 23 inches wide, so plan a large, flat surface for it.

Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser 75367

The Venator is an Ultimate Collector Series model made to celebrate 20 years of Clone Wars stories. It came out in 2023 and has 5,374 pieces. LEGO built it for display: it has a built-in stand with an information plaque, a Clone Wars 20th-anniversary brick and space for its 2 minifigures, Captain Rex and Admiral Yularen. The red stripes and the command bridge are there, and the hangar holds a brick-built Republic Gunship. At over 43 inches long, it is the longest of the three by a wide margin.

NASA Artemis Space Launch System 10341

The Artemis rocket is a LEGO Icons model from 2024, with 3,601 pieces. It is a multistage rocket with 2 detachable solid-fuel boosters, the Orion capsule and a mobile launch tower with retractable umbilicals, a rocket support and a crew bridge. The rocket stages separate. The Orion module has foldout solar panels and can sit inside the rocket or on its own display stand, and a printed plaque finishes the display. It stands over 27.5 inches tall but only 10.5 by 12 inches at the base, and at $104.00 it is the most affordable of the three.

What changes after a set retires

When a set retires, new, sealed copies only come from what is left with stores, resellers and collectors, and the price follows that market. Our price tag changes too. Instead of the LEGO US price, the crossed-out reference becomes the market value of a new, sealed copy, with its source and the date we read it, and our price comes off that. You can see how it worked out for the three retired sets we carry, using BrickEconomy's figures read on October 20, 2026. The Imperial Star Destroyer 75252 launched at $699.99 and a new, sealed copy was valued at $1,391.46. The Ferrari Daytona SP3 42143 launched at $449.99 and was valued at $601.37. The Bugatti Chiron 42083 launched at $349.99 and was valued at $447.88. That is three sets, not a rule. Values can go either way, and we do not sell sets as investments.

If you want one of the three

  • While LEGO still sells a set, our reference is the LEGO US price. After it retires, the reference becomes the market value of a sealed copy.
  • Our stock is overstock in small lots. When a set sells out, we cannot reorder it.
  • Check the space first. The Falcon is over 33 inches long and the Venator over 43.
  • Standard delivery takes 7 to 15 business days and is free on orders over $79. Express takes 3 to 5 business days.
  • All three are in retiring soon. The sets LEGO has already retired are in retired sets.
When exactly will these sets retire?

LEGO does not give a date on its retiring soon page. The label means soon, not a specific day.

Will the price go up after they retire?

We cannot say. The three retired sets we carry are valued above their launch price today, but the market can move either way.

Are your copies new and sealed?

Yes. Every set is new and factory-sealed, in its original LEGO box, with all its pieces in numbered bags.

Will a retired set still have instructions?

Yes. The instruction booklets are inside the sealed box, and LEGO publishes its building instructions free on LEGO.com.
